Classroom Management

In my classroom, classroom management is key to operating an organized, productive, and respectful learning environment where students feel safe, motivated, and excited to learn. Effective classroom management involves setting clear expectations for behavior, establishing routines, and using positive reinforcement to encourage student engagement. One way to establish expectations that I have found students enjoy is the punch hole system. The punch hole system is a way for students to get rewarded for good behavior and exemplify what it means to be a good citizen. Once a student has filled out their entire punch card, they will be rewarded with a prize of their liking. In my experience, I have found this system to be very effective and lead to all students demonstrating good behavior. This system allows for our class to run smooth and be productive every day.
